Prepare a clean PDF document bundle

Combining files can leave duplicate covers, blank separator pages or inconsistent page numbers. Merging alone does not resolve these issues.

Why this happens

Combining files can leave duplicate covers, blank separator pages or inconsistent page numbers. Merging alone does not resolve these issues.

What to try first

Merge first, review the combined page sequence, then remove unwanted pages and add page numbers if needed. Keep the original documents separately.

Try it on a fresh copy

  1. Add the PDFs in the order you want them to appear in the finished document.
  2. Merge the files and download the combined copy.
  3. Check the pages where each file meets the next one. Remove duplicate covers or blank pages separately if needed.

How to tell whether it worked

Count the final pages and inspect the boundaries between each source file.
