Add a PDF summary page with AI
Ask FileHero AI to summarize document content and insert the summary as a new PDF page, with a review step before changes are applied.
A useful starting prompt
Try: “Add a first page summarizing the purpose, key findings and action items in this PDF. Preserve the existing pages.” Tell the assistant whether you prefer a short overview or a detailed outline.
Check document coverage
The assistant receives extracted document text. Its reading limit is up to 500 pages and a bounded text budget, not unlimited access to arbitrary files. If it reports missing or truncated content, do not treat its summary as a full-document review.
Review factual claims
Check names, amounts, dates and conclusions against the source. A summary can omit qualifications or misinterpret a statement. Important decisions should rely on the original content as well as the summary.
Apply once
Review the proposed insertion and credit cost, then click Apply. Page insertion on an interactive form fixes its current field values as page content; the preview warns you before this happens. Undo restores the earlier document state.
